The Hungarian Joint Venture Association (JVSZ) and the Hungarian Economic Development Agency (MGFÜ) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at providing Hungarian SMEs with more effective access to available financing and professional support, the organizations told MTI on Wednesday.
The agreement also gives special attention to the coordination of business development activities, they added.
They said they will work to identify and optimize the existing parallelisms in the functioning of the institutional actors and exploit potential synergies, thereby helping the SME sector to develop and strengthen. The focus of cooperation will include helping SMEs to change generations, supplier development and external market penetration.
Richárd Szabados, Managing Director of MGFÜ, underlined that the aim is to further develop the Hungarian institutional system for enterprise development and to provide a set of development policy and financing instruments that are easily and quickly accessible to domestic SMEs. As a flagship agency for economic development, the MGFÜ aims to reach more and more Hungarian enterprises with targeted support programs.
