Koncsek Trans Ltd. of Orosháza, SE Hungary, which provides domestic and international transport services, is carrying out a HUF 150 million development.
In a press release sent to MTI, the company announced that it had won HUF 106.5 million from the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program (Ginop).
With this amount, they will expand their workshop by 360 square meters and purchase more equipment (including a brake bench, shock absorber and chassis play testing machine, exhaust gas extractor, chassis adjuster). The machines will enable them to carry out most of the inspection, maintenance and repair work currently carried out at long distances on site.
The investment is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
The company's predecessor started as a sole proprietorship in 1985 and became a limited liability company in 2009. Currently, 17 vehicles are used for transporting goods, including dangerous goods. Within the EU, the main destinations are Germany, Benelux, France and Austria, with Switzerland and Serbia being the other main destinations, managing director Tamás Koncsek said.
According to publicly available company data, the company, which employs 24 people, has booked net sales of HUF 613 million in 2021, up from HUF 495 million in 2020. Its after-tax profit fell from HUF 63 million to HUF 45 million during the period. 65-70% of its revenue comes from international freight forwarding.
