May 14, 2018

In commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust, thousands of people walked across the river Danube and along the embankment of the river in the traditional 'March of the Living'. Speakers of the event talked about the importance of rememberance.

Greeting the gathering participants, chief rabbi Tamás Róna asked them to keep the memory of the 600,000 Jews whose lives could never be full. There was an attempt to wipe these people off the face of the Earth without a trace.
