More Than Ever Hungarians Diagnosed Infected in One Day

In the last 24 hours, 3,908 more Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection – never before had so many new infections been registered in one day.

This increased the number of identified new coronavirus infections to 75,321 in Hungary since the beginning of the epidemic.

The number of COVID-19 related fatalities went up by 51 in one day, the majority of them were elderly, chronic patients, bringing the number of deaths to 1,750. 19,032 people have already recovered from the infection.

4,048 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, almost 300 more than the previous day. Of those in the hospital, 281 are on ventilator.
