The 44th AGROmashEXPO and Agricultural Machinery Show, which ended over the weekend in the Hungarian capital, welcomed nearly 35,000 visitors, the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center told MTI on Monday.
According to the event venue, this was the most successful agricultural exhibition in recent years. The outstanding interest confirms the international significance of the event, but even more important than the number of visitors is the fact that exhibitors reported significantly more business deals than in previous years, emphasizing that AGROmashEXPO and AgrárgépShow are future-shaping events that go beyond showcasing the latest machines and technologies.
There was also considerable interest in the professional programs, which provided a unique opportunity for dialogue between manufacturers, developers, and farmers. In addition to the exchange of experiences, the meetings also helped to establish new collaborations.
In keeping with tradition, product development awards were also presented at the event. Among the entries, there are an increasing number of innovations using artificial intelligence, but developments addressing the challenges of climate change also deserve special attention.
This time, the organizers awarded the grand prize to AgroVario Ltd. for its microbiological preparation and to Axiál Ltd. for its agricultural tractor, but they also presented numerous special prizes and certificates to the most outstanding entrants, they added.
