The new coronavirus infection was detected in 2,032 more Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 52,212.
46 Hungarians died as a result of COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of them were elderly, chronic patients, bringing the number of deaths to 1,305, 15,254 have already recovered. The number of active infected people is 35,653. There are 2,132 coronavirus patients in hospital, 197 of whom are on ventilators.
