Number of Hungarian Coronavirus Victims Surpasses 7,500

Another 157 COVID-19 patients died, bringing the official number of fatalities related to the new coronavirus infection in Hungary to 7,538.

The new coronavirus infection was detected in another 2,982 Hungarian citizens in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 291,549.

The number of people recobered is also constantly growing, currently standing at 86,954 while the number of active infected people is 197,057. 7,522 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 573 of whom are on ventilators, according to the related government website.
