Official Daily Number of COVID-19 Deaths under 100

According to the government's information website, 96 people have died of coronavirus complications in the last 24 hours, which means that there have been a total of 9,047 deaths related to the pandemic in Hungary, so far.

By Sunday, the number of identified infections had risen by 698, with a total of 316,060 people now included in the statistics. The number of recovered people is also constantly growing, it is currently at 130,420, while the number of active infected people is 176,593.

The government website finds it important to emphasize that 19% of the active infected, 20% of the dead and 20% of the recovered are from Budapest. (The capital accounts for about 19% of the country's population)

There are currently 6,072 patients with coronavirus hospitalized, 467 of whom are on ventilators.
