More than 175,000 users have saved nearly HUF half a billion forints at ORLEN petrol stations in Hungary this year as the region's largest oil company gives a HUF 10 discount on every liter of fuel to drivers using its mobile application.
A company statement points out that since the launch in of December 21, 2022, more than 175,000 customers are already using the ORLEN app regularly, and the positive feedback confirms that the app offers real value in their daily lives. The app's intuitive interface allows quick access to ORLEN's special offers, which can be used to get discounts of up to 10 HUF per liter. With this solution, users have already made significant savings on refueling, saving nearly HUF four hundred million this year.
Through the app, anyone can track the number and cost of their refueling, giving them an accurate picture of their car expenses. In addition, ORLEN provides up-to-date information on the opening hours, and available services of the nearest service stations. Self-service fuel dispensers are also made easier to use through the app.
"Educating customers and promoting cost-effective transport is key for us. We want drivers to leave our charging stations satisfied and safe, while enjoying the benefits of our app, which provides easy-to-use, cost-effective solutions," the Managing Director of ORLEN Hungary, Vladimír Dočekal emphasized in the statement.
In addition to digital developments, ORLEN is further strengthening its presence in the domestic market, having already 139 service stations in the country. The company is committed to providing its customers with ever higher quality services. The Stop.Cafe range is constantly being expanded to offer customers a wider choice of products, from premium coffees to fresh, locally made sandwiches. In addition, refurbishment works will continue to modernize the filling stations.
The ORLEN network currently operates more than 3,500 service stations in seven European countries, including Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Lithuania and Slovakia. This means that Hungarian drivers can choose ORLEN's quality fuels and for thousands of kilometers of their trips to the region.
