The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 4,064. There are 8,472 people in compulsory home quarantine, 2,476 recovered and 559 deceased.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 1,029. The official government site finds it important to note that 40% of those infected, 60% of the deceased, and 48% of those recovered live in Budapest. There are currently 283 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus, 20 of whom are on ventilators.
It’s still vital for everyone to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and cover their face in shops and on public transport. It is recommended to stay at home and observe the rules and recommendations, especially elderly people, students, and those who have returned from abroad.
