Over 43,000 Pandemic Fatalities in Hungary

Another 100 patients have died in the past 24 hours due to the new coronavirus infection, bringing the official total number of deaths in this country to 43,066 since the beginning of the epidemic, the government information portal reports.

7,480 new infections have been confirmed and thus, the total number of identified infections to 1,746,424

The number of cured persons is now 1,504,055, while the number of active infected persons has decreased to 199,303. This means that the number of active infected persons has decreased by 3,435 in one day.

4,919 patients with coronavirus are in hospital, 201 of whom are on ventilators. The number on ventilators fell by five in one day, while the number of those, suffering from the pandemic, in hospital fell by 143.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,386,416, of whom 6,149,334 are on their second vaccination and 3,781,740 on their third.
