In the last 24 hours, the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in another 927 Hungarian citizens, increasing the official number of infected people in Hungary to 22,127.
Nine patients died - seven of them over the age of seventy - so the number of deaths rose to 718 and 4,945 have already recovered. The number of active infections is 16,464.
Currently, 28 kindergartens and 8 schools have extraordinary breaks, and 194 classes and 7 full schools have been assigned digital work schedule due to coronavirus illnesses.
