The number of patients treated in the hospital has increased tremendously since yesterday - the number of those treated for COVID-19 hoing up by more than 500. There are currently 9,300 patients hospitalized for the new coronavirus.
The number of new infections in Hungary in the last 24 hours was 7,706, increasing the number of identified infections to a total of 524 196 since the beginning of the epidemic. 131 people died, mostly elderly, chronic patients, thus, the official number of deaths rose to 17,083, according to the related government website koronavirus.gov.hu.
The number of recovered people is currently 354,817, but the number of active infected people has also risen and it is at 152,296. 9,300 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 1,008 of whom are on ventilators.
