Profi Tető Kft. of Kaposvár has implemented a more than half a billion HUF equipment and labor development project, for which it won HUF 258 million in EU funding under the Széchenyi 2020 program, the company, which deals with the trade of roofing materials and roofing production, told the state news agency MTI.
Among other things, they bought woodworking machines, tools for the production of metals and improved the professional training of their employees at the company's sites in Mindszentgodisa and Kaposvár.
The project has contributed to boosting productivity, increasing sales, strengthening the supplier position and attracting new customers, they said, noting that capacity has increased, production time has been reduced and they can prefabricate complete roof structures, which means a larger market.
According to publicly available company data, the company employed 26 workers in fiscal 2020 and 47 in 2021. The annual net turnover was HUF 1,420,000 in 2020 and HUF 1,720,000 in 2021. Profit before tax increased from HUF 26 million in 2020 to HUF 106 million in 2021.
