Record 'March for Life' attendance in Budapest

A record number of people – estimated to be over 10,000 of them, more than double the usual turnout –, took part this Sunday in the annual ‘March for Life’ in the Hungarian capital to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.

"It's important that future generations also learn the lessons from the Holocaust," organizer László Bándi said in front of the marchers that included members of Hungarian government as well as of the opposition, and the ambassadors of Israel and the United States.
