Somewhat Improving COVID-19 Numbers in Hungary

By Saturday, 8,637 new coronavirus infections were identified in Hungary, while this number was over 9,000 the previous day. The number of daily fatalities is also down.

The total number of identified infections in this country is now 679,413 while the official number of fatalities related to the new coronavirus infection is 21,504, following the death of 242 patients in the past 24 hours.

The number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently standing at 415,601, while the number of active infected people has already risen to 242,308 people. There are 11,383 coronavirus patients in hospital, 1,437 of whom are on ventilators.

The number of people vaccinated by Saturday morning was 2,235,731, of whom 891,002 had already received their second vaccination.
