The implementation agreement of the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Program was officially signed in Budapest this Wednesday.
The Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Hungary, Jean-Francios Paroz, emphasized at the signing ceremony that the main objective of the program is to promote career guidance and project-based learning in Hungarian vocational training.
High-quality vocational training meets the needs of the economy and thus contributes to the country's development, the ambassador said. He added: Switzerland is happy to share its experiences with dual vocational training.
Gergő Korponai, the deputy head of the Hungarian authority governing the program, spoke about how the Swiss contribution serves both social integration, the equalization of opportunities within the country, and the further reduction of youth unemployment. He indicated that the program also contributes to the sustainable development of the Hungarian economy.
