Tamás Révész, an award-winning photographer, a worldwide exhibited artist and the organizer of the annual World Press Photo exhibition in Hungary for over thirty years, the Dutch Embassy in Budapest has announced.
The embassy statement highlights that "his strong commitment and perseverance in organising the World Press Photo-exhibition in Hungary it has pleased His Majesty the King of the Netherlands to appoint Tamás Révész as Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
Amongst family, friends and colleagues the royal decoration was handed over by Her Excellency, Mrs Désirée Bonis, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Hungary.
