The Day of the Hungarian Flag and Coat of Arms

In commemoration of the adoption of Article XXI, on March 16, 1848, on the mandatory use of the Hungarian flag on public holidays as well as on Hungarian ships, a flag of 1,848 meters in length was carried by 1,848 people along Andrássy Avenue in Budapest this Saturday.

Hungarian Parliament declared March 16 the Day of the Hungarian Flag and Coat of Arms in December 2014.
