The popular national event, the Night of Ice Rinks, was held for the seventh time this Saturday across the country.
The Hungarian Ice Hockey Association has been organizing the Ice Rink Night since 2016. Everyone can put on skates at the large-scale and popular event.
In 2022, the event was held on January 22, arousing enormous interest: across the country – and even in areas inhabited by ethnic Hungarians beyond the country's borders –, 58 ice rinks joined the initiative, and tens of thousands skated at the same time in a good mood, with colorful programs.
Several ice rinks across the country have indicated their participation this year as well. The main venue of the event has once again been the Városligeti Műjégpálya (City Park Ice Rink) in Budapest, but also in several big cities – like Győr, Veszprém and Miskolc –, special programs awaited the lovers of ice sports and those who want to have fun.
