Hungarian FloeWater's bottled water was a major success on the international market, winning the prestigious Monde Selection gold medal. This new, revolutionary product, which appeared on the market this year, was also proven before the experts of the food certification institute, the company said in a statement.
Operating since 1961, Monde Selection, one of the world's most recognized professional quality institutes, annually awards the best foods, waters and soft drinks. Prior to the award ceremony in Vienna's Hofburg Palace, more than 80 independent experts, including water sommeliers, food science specialists and chemical engineers, evaluated the products participating in the competition. FloeWater achieved excellent results in the strict tests, which also examined the aspects of taste, aroma, aftertaste, mouthfeel, packaging and scientific analysis, HELL says in its announcement.
This recognition shows that we are on the right track and remain committed to quality and sustainability. The gold medal is clear proof that FloeWater's crystal-clear water in aluminum cans represents exceptional quality, which is recognized not only by consumers but also by key players in the industry, according to Adrienn Popovics, HELL's marketing director.
FloeWater's special water in aluminum cans won over not only experts, but also celebrities. The American movie star Eva Mendes became the face of the new Hungarian water, and she immediately said yes to FloeWater. According to the production company, Mendes, who is known to pay attention to his health and environmental protection, fits perfectly with the values of the brand, thus further increasing its appeal.
Ultra-filtered drinking water also contains minerals, but it is particularly clean. Thanks to one of the most advanced ultrafiltration technologies in the world, it remains significantly below the limit values of legal regulations in the case of several pollutants; for example, for arsenic, lead, nitrite and nitrate, it is on average 30 times cleaner than the permissible limits. Before being bottled, FloeWater passes through two special layers: quartz crystals and aqeeq stones.
In addition, aluminum can be endlessly recycled without quality loss, and thanks to its excellent thermal conductivity, the drinks in the sub-box cool down faster, so consumers can enjoy a cold drink sooner.
