Yet Another Daily Record of COVID-19 Fatalities

152 Hungarians died in the past 24 hours due to complications caused by the new coronavirus infection, bringing the number of deaths to 4,516. The majority of the deceased were elderly, chronic patients.

The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in another 6,268 Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 204,708. The number of recovered people increased to 54,021, and the number of active infected people was 146,171. The relevant government website finds it important to state that 20% of the active infected, 24% of the dead and 26% of the recovered are from Budapest.

7,536 coronavirus patients are being hospitalized, 644 of whom are on ventilators.
