19-year-old Hungarian attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been voted by club presidents, sports directors and head coaches as the best player of the Austrian first division (Bundesliga).
The Austrian Bundesliga season ended this Sunday with Szoboszlai's team, Red Bull Salzburg finishing on top of the table. In the last match of the season, they beat LASK Linz 3-0 with Szoboszlai scoring the first goal from the penalty spot.
The Hungarian international played in excellent form after a forced break due to the coronavirus epidemic, and ended the championship with 9 goals and 10 assists. As for his recognition, he said he worked hard and played well after the shutdown, "I just wanted to win every title with the team."
