"13 medals is the current reality. The Olympics are just starting, let's wait and see what happens, there are bound to be some big surprises due to the many effects of Covid," the President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, Krisztián Kulcsár told the Hungarian news site telex.hu.
"However, on a statistical basis, not on the basis of our aspirations, the reality is 13 medals, and that we will make the most of them in the traditional Hungarian success sports. In Rio, by the way, four sports were medal winners. The conclusions will be drawn by the stakeholders after the Olympics, and we, for our part, will work on our competitive sports strategy," the President, am Olympic silver medalist fencer himself, added.
