Hungarian Runner-Up at World Chess Online Champs

13-year-old Hungarian Zsóka Gaál finished second in the girls' under-14 category at the FIDE Online World Cadets & Youth Rapid Chess Championships.

In Tuesday's final, the Hungarian teenager played the final against Eline Roebers of the Netherlands. The first match of the final was won by the Dutch girl with the second ending in a tie.

The three-time youth European champion Zsóka already had two world championship silver medals on her belt in her age groups, and now she has won the third online. The bronze medal went to Laysa Latifah from Poland.
