The Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH) has a cross-sector membership of more than 140 companies, enabling it to effectively promote partnerships to accelerate carbon neutrality and systemic processes. The organization has held its third Sustainability Partner Search for member companies this week with the event hosted by UniCredit Bank and the participants welcomed by the bank’s President and CEO, Balázs Tóth.
At the event, organized in the framework of the Race to Zero program, 27 companies presented their sustainability products and services, including unique and new solutions such as psychosocial risk assessment, an innovative solution to increase the efficiency of solar panels, a digital platform to support sustainability issues, or a methodology for sustainable event management. In addition to options to support climate goals, there were a good number of solutions to support biodiversity, according to a press statement by BCSDH.
"Collaboration is the only way to be at the forefront of the systemic change the world needs to protect and adapt to climate change. Only together can we do what no single company can do alone," BCSDH Director Irén Márta stressed.
The short presentations were followed by informal discussions, where a large number of interested companies looking for sustainability solutions could find their potential cooperation partners.
Already here, the BCSDH 2024 focus theme of human value, social inequalities, employee well-being, valuing human capital, social exposure, mental health and efficiency services were also on display.
