Eurowag is building a network of refueling stations on Europe's main transit routes, with services available exclusively for trucks, the company told MTI on Tuesday.
The Eurowag Prime Network already comprises 70 service stations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Italy, France, Benelux, Northern Europe, the Baltic States, the Balkans, Austria and Germany.
The aim is to have a number of Eurowag Prime fuel stations in each country where Eurowag operates, in the most ideal locations along the major transit routes," Kim Coppens, Head of Energy Procurement and Operations, South and West Region, Eurowag, said in a statement.
According to the statement, the network members were selected from existing service stations, with the criteria of having facilities to serve trucks and being strategically located for transit traffic.
So far, three filling stations have been included in the Prime Network in Hungary, in the northern parts of the country.
According to the press release, the network's service stations, which will bear the Eurowag Prime logo, can be used with the classic Eurowag corporate fuel card.
It is planned to add 100 more stations to the Prime Network in the coming year.
Eurowag has been providing integrated mobility and payment services to international and domestic road haulage and transport companies for more than 25 years.
