Hungary’s first airport hotel with direct terminal connection opened in early January. The ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel, built by the Hungarian company WING Co. Ltd. for HUF 3.2 billion has 145 rooms and is able to accommodate 300 guests.
WING Chairman and CEO Noah Steinberg said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday that it was an important development in terms of tourism because in Europe there are airport hotels in almost every capital city.
According to a statement distributed to the representatives of the press, the hotel is operated under the brand ‘ibis Styles’ by the world's leading travel and lifestyle group, Orbis, which is AccorHotels' Eastern European Strategic Partner.
