The new direct bus link between downtown Budapest and the Liszt Ferenc Airport of the Hungarian capital is a real 'gold mine' for the Budapest Transport Center (BKK) commissioning the service, the Hungarian news website 444.hu reports.
Operated every half an hour by the company VT-Arriva on behalf of BKK, the 100E bus carries 2,000 passengers a day, 444.hu has learned. According to the website's calculation, it means a profit of over HUF half a million (over EUR 1.700) for BKK every day.
