Opposition wins another midterm election

A candidate by the Hungarian Socialist Party (who are in opposition in the country's parliament), supported by other leftist and liberal parties, won the race for the post of mayor in the town of Salgótarján, north of Budapest, beating the candidate of the nationally ruling Fidesz party.
