The Hungarian unit of German carmaker Audi is to invest over HUF 2 billion (EUR 6.64 m) in a new vehicle development division in the northwest town of Gyõr, Thomas Faustman, managing director of Audi Hungaria Motor announced on Monday. The new facility will create 70 jobs.
The engine development centre of Audi Hungaria celebrates its 10th anniversary today. The company invested more than HUF 9 billion (EUR 29.87 m) in engine development, creating 150 jobs over the past decade.
This operation will be expanded by a vehicle development division, which will be constructed with an investment of over HUF 2 billion. The new unit is to create 70 jobs for engineers.
