15% of companies already use artificial intelligence solutions, and one in five is planning to introduce such software to increase efficiency, according to a survey of 197 companies published by profession.hu on Tuesday.

62% of respondents said they had never used an AI-based solution, while a quarter did not know if they had used one.

Those with experience mentioned ChatGPT spontaneously. However, when asked the supported questions, far more respondents indicated that they had used speech and facial recognition systems, drones, virtual assistants, robots, image analysis software or self-driving cars. Only 3% had not yet used any AI-based solution.

The survey reveals that 4% of respondents have already used AI in recruitment and have had positive experiences: it shortens recruitment time and helps objective decision-making. “Respondents see the potential of AI mainly in the planning (72%) and evaluation (85%) of recruitment campaigns. 77% would use it to find the right candidates, while 64% would use it to write job advertisements and 53% to select quality candidates," profession.hu reported.

Profession.hu is Hungary's most visited thematic job portal, with more than 1.2 million job seekers registered on the site by the fourth quarter of 2022.
