Revenue in Hungary of Danish home furnishings chain JYSK rose 16% to HUF 89 billion in the company's 2024/2025 business year, the company told MTI this Thursday.
According to a recently published report, the EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) of the Danish retail chain's Hungarian company exceeded HUF 23 billion, which is an increase of more than 27% year-on-year, they wrote. According to the announcement, the number of domestic customers increased by 9.9%, while online sales grew by 16.4%.
Based on the data, JYSK sees significant growth opportunities in this market. They employ 1,347 people in Hungary and supply goods to 415 stores and online demand in seven countries from their center in Ecser.
