Waberer's will make 925 replacements in its international fleet of lorries in 2026, the Hungarian haulier said on Thursday.
The upgrades, which will lower the average age of lorries in the fleet from three to two years, are taking place in the framework of a EUR 57m programme.
Waberer's will also invest around EUR 6m to lease two LEMA Transmontana locomotives at its Romanian unit for eight years, starting in the autumn.
Waberer's has a fleet of 2,800 lorries, 18 locomotives and over 1,000 freight cars. It also operates 160 buses and has 275,000sqm of warehouse space.
