Hungarian oil and gas company MOL will launch a scheme dubbed MOL Plugee Partner Program supporting businesses that install new, high-capacity electric vehicle charging points with up to HUF 3.6 million per company, MOL said on Friday.
The aim of the program is to increase the number of reliable, publicly available charging points at viable locations in Hungary, the company stated.
The charging points will operate as part of the MOL Plugee network. In return for the marketing surface on the charging equipment, MOL will pay a one-off HUF 1.8 million to businesses installing chargers with capacity between 49-99 kW and HUF 3.6 million for chargers with capacity over 100 kW.
The companies can also cut their corporate tax base by the costs of the investment.
The charging points will have nationwide and international visibility by connecting to the MOL Plugee network and international roaming systems.
