4iG Defence and Space Technologies signed an agreement with Axiom Space, the leading provider of human spaceflight services and developer of human-rated space infrastructure, parent company 4iG is quoted by MTI as saying.
Under the agreement, 4iG SDT will carry out a USD 100 million raise capital in the US company in two steps: to a value of USD 30 million by December 31, 2025, and USD 70 million by March 31, 2026.
The binding agreement will take effect after the first investment tranche of the transaction is completed.
The transaction is in line with the 4iG Group's long-term strategy to become a leading international player in space and defence technology and marks a historic step in space research and space industry cooperation between Hungary and the United States, 4iG said.
