CITY TOUR Hop on Hop off Ltd. won the open procurement tender for the provision of daily ‘hop-on-hop-off’ sightseeing bus tours with a net amount offer of HUF 125.9 million. The tender announcement included an estimated net figure of HUF 200 million. The winner must provide – on a daily basis for the duration of one year – a sightseeing bus tour with fixed stops on the route detailed in the tender announcement.
The service provider must have at least five buses with a minimum capacity of 70 people each. These vehicles must be identical double-decker buses with permanent availability. Guide information must be made available in 15 languages, possibly through a computer-controlled sound system.
The service must also include a sightseeing boat tour on the river Danube made available at least once a day with a boat that has a minimum capacity of 70 people and an audio guide at least in English and German.
The service provider must make this service available free of charge for the holders of the 48-hour Budapest Card available from June 15 for a price of HUF 9,900 or EUR 35.
