Eve Power Hungary Ltd. is launching a recruitment campaign in Debrecen and the surrounding settlements in the first half of 2026, planning to hire around 400 new employees, relying as much as possible on the domestic workforce for its factory under construction in Debrecen, which is a supplier to the BMW Group. The aim of the expansion is to prepare for the production preparation and ramp-up period by relying on local and regional labor, the company says in a statement.
Eve Power Hungary Ltd. has reached a significant milestone in its HUF 400 billion investment in Debrecen. The company will manufacture battery cells for the BMW Group at its 450,000 sqm plant, which is being built on 45 hectares. Production capacity is developing according to plan, and in the coming period, several areas will be expanded to support the processes necessary for the start of production and stable operation. The company's goal is to establish long-term sustainable operations in line with the dynamically developing industrial environment of the region.
As part of its recruitment campaign starting at the end of January, Eve Power Hungary Ltd. is primarily looking for technicians, engineers, and administrative and other support staff, relying as much as possible on the regional domestic workforce. The company is accepting applications for positions in various fields on its own career page, LinkedIn page, and job portals.
"Our investment in Hungary has reached an important stage, and in the coming period we will focus on establishing and strengthening production-related processes.
