The number of visitors in Budapest’s thermal baths increased by 15% and revenue was up by 17% in 2015 compared to the previous year. As the operator had an operating profit in 2015 of around 2 billion forints, this opens up investment opportunities.
According to László Szõke, the chief executive of the Budapest bath operator company BGYH, visitor numbers reached 3.9 million and revenue rose to 11.93 billion forints (EUR 38m) last year. In 2016, at least 4 million visitors are expected.
