Magyar Suzuki Corporation, the only European manufacturing unit of the Japanese parent company to date, is celebrating its 30th anniversary of founding this year. From the very beginning, the company has been engaged in full-scale manufacturing activities in Hungary.

As the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency reports, since the company's foundation three decades ago, about 3.6 million Suzuki cars have been produced in Esztergom.

Magyar Suzuki Corporation was founded in 1991 and has been the only European manufacturing unit of the Japanese parent company ever since. The Esztergom car plant started production in October 1992. The Vitara and SX4 S-CROSS models are manufactured here, only in hybrid versions for the European Union markets.

The company also ships cars to distant countries such as Mexico, New Zealand or Japan. In addition to manufacturing vehicles for the Hungarian and international markets, the company also sells imported Suzuki cars, motorcycles and marine engines.
