Hungarian oil and gas company MOL will pay a HUF 317.58-per-share dividend on 2025 earnings starting September 25, the company said on Thursday.
The record date for payment of the dividend will be September 16. The shares will trade with the dividend coupon for the last time on September 14.
MOL shareholders had approved payment of a HUF 241.2 billion dividend on 2025 earnings at an annual general meeting on April 10, but had postponed payment until the dissolution of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) Foundation and the MOL New Europe Foundation, which held sizable stakes in MOL, by an act of parliament.
Lawmakers wound up the public interest asset management foundations (or KEKVAs in Hungarian) as a condition for unlocking the country's European Union funding.
The foundations' MOL stakes have been returned to the state and to MOL's own stock of treasury shares.
