A transport authority in Florida ordered another contingent of Hungarian buses from the NABI company, following an order last year. Another Hungarian bus manufacturing company, Kravtex unveiled its new model.

The Broward County transport authority in the U.S. state of Florida has ordered 49 new 40LFW type buses from the Hungarian manufacturing company NABI. In August last year, the same customer expanded its fleet with 50 new NABI buses.

As a result of CompuBus orders for 150 buses from Los Angeles, California in March, this year, the production capacity of the manufacturing plant in Kaposvár, southwestern Hungary, has been expanded where recruitment of new workers takes place continuously until June.

Last year, only two NABI buses, of the Sirius Series designed for the domestic and European markets, were sold in Hungary. NABI manufactures 300-400 buses a year for exports. On the American market, tenders are announced continuously where NABI is a regular participant.

In related news, the company group manufacturing Kravtex buses at its factory premises in Gyõr, northwestern Hungary, unveiled its new ‘Inovell 12’ model designed for long-distance travel. The 11.9-meter-long bus has 51 seats and 30 standing places.
