PowerPak Ltd., a company engaged in the mixing and packaging of cosmetic, care and chemical household products, has built a new plant and warehouse in Göd, just north of Budapest, with HUF 5 billion, the company told MTI.
According to the statement, the development will enable the company to serve the growing needs of its customers and is expected to double its 2024 turnover within 3 years.
Founded in 1994, PowerPak Ltd. has so far operated a 3,000-square-meter plant in Budapest. In order to increase its capacity, the company has doubled its production and storage capacities by building a new plant and warehouse in Göd, with a total area of 11,000 square meters.
The development will also contribute to increasing the production and thus sales of their own-brand Clean.me product range in response to existing market needs, they added.
They stressed that the new warehouse will contribute both to optimising production processes and to reducing transport costs and the environmental impact of operations. In addition to offices, the plant building also includes a product development area. The investment also included the installation of a renewable energy heat pump.
The investment was co-financed by the government with HUF 1.929 billion in non-repayable aid from the European Union under the program "Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with high performance and significant growth potential".
According to their information, PowerPak's net turnover in 2024 was around HUF 3.5 billion. According to publicly available data, the company achieved a net profit after tax of HUF 347 million in 2023 on net sales of HUF 2.6 billion.
