OTP Bank has opened a mobile branch in Polgár, Hajdú-Bihar County, offering the same services as traditional cashless branches, the bank told MTI on Thursday.
The bank decided to launch a mobile branch in another settlement due to the positive experience so far, they said.
Although more and more people are settling simple transactions via the Internet, the statement said that personal transactions have not been relegated to the background, and some people have become OTP customers thanks to the mobile branches.
The credit institution has 2,213 contact points nationwide, with branches in 90% of towns and villages with a population of over 10,000.
The advantage of mobile branches serving smaller settlements is that they offer flexible opening hours and services tailored to the needs of customers, in a similar environment to permanent branches, they added.
The contact details and opening hours of mobile branches can be found on the OTP website. According to the information published there, the service is available in five settlements in Eastern Hungary and three in Transdanubia, including Polgár.
