Róbert Keszte has been a member of the DUIHK's executive committee since 2024. He has been employed by Continental since 2000. From 2013 to 2024, he was managing director of Continental Automotive Hungary. In 2024, he became head of Global Operations for Continental AG's Architecture and Networking Solutions division.

The announcement quoted Róbert Keszte who told chamber members after his election that the strength of the DUIHK lies, on the one hand, in the outstanding importance of German-Hungarian business relations in the Hungarian economy. On the other hand, the individual strengths of the member companies and their close cooperation also support the role of the chamber. DUIHK members employ around 300,000 people in Hungary and generate around one-tenth of the private sector's added value.
Róbert Keszte emphasized that, as president, he will work to ensure that the DUIHK's opinions and initiatives are heard and taken into account in the dialogue with economic policy makers.
In addition to the new president, new chamber officials were also elected at the DUIHK's annual general meeting.
As a result, three new members joined the DUIHK presidency: Michael Breme, CEO of AUDI HUNGARIA, Csaba Juhász, managing director of Harro Höfliger Hungary and Ágnes Vörös, managing director of BASF Hungary. Bernhard Haider, Managing Director of ALDI Hungary and Armin Krug, Advisory Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditor, were confirmed for another three-year term.
