From this September, the poultry farming group Master Good starts a long-term cooperation with Bátor Tábor [‘Camp Courage’], that provides healing experiences to seriously and chronically ill children and their families: a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Füstli brand products with a promotional label, HUF 10 per pack, will be donated to Bátor Tábor.
"It is very important for us to support causes that shape lives, destinies and ways of thinking. And the Bátor Tábor experience provides exactly that. We have followed and supported them in the past, but this year, we wanted to take our collaboration to a higher level,” the Managing Owner of Master Good, László Bárány said at the announcement of the partnership. “Füstli is one of the Group's most popular and biggest selling sub-brands. We are proud that from September onwards, Füstli customers will not only be choosing a quality product, but also participating in a meaningful cause to help build a more sustainable and just future," he added.
At Bátor Tábor, the goal of experiential therapy is to provide seriously ill children and their families with life-changing experiences, strengthening their self-confidence and psychological resilience, giving them the strength to heal. In a challenging, yet safe environment, participants can take part in activities such as horse riding, archery and art classes, discovering new skills and pushing their limits. Children gain strength for their daily struggles and find community with their peers in similar situations.
According to the Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Bátor Tábor, Andrea Szabó, "this collaboration is a huge asset for us. Master Good's donation will go a long way in helping us to continue to provide life-changing experiences for seriously ill children. Many small grants will add up. We are confident that with Master Good's support, we will be able to make important improvements."
She pointed out that the support from this collaboration is a great help. "We have to think about funding a wide variety of things and goals. Two examination rooms and four rest rooms, a medicine room, a storage room and a bathroom with accessibility facilities ensure the work of the medical team. We want to improve this. Not all campers' families have a car or can afford to travel from the other side of the country to the campsite in Hatvan, east of Budapest. Their travel costs are higher every year. It is also important for us to acquire additional equipment for the newest camp program, the circus, to expand our school program and to provide adequate mental health support for our volunteers. The plans and goals are endless. We are endlessly grateful to Master Good for their support."
