On the occasion of World Girls' Day (October 11), UNICEF Hungary once again organizes its large-scale charity wardrobe fair. The three-day Pop-Up Store, which opens on October 9, will offer branded clothing at extremely reasonable prices.
Nikolett Blaskó, one of the best-known actors in the communication profession, a well-known supporter of Hungarian contemporary artists, has now joined the host of last year's highly successful event, Enikő Mihalik, with the undisguised mission of offering more success. So far, more than 30 well-known Hungarian designers and fashion brands have joined the campaign with their offers.
In 2020, girls around the world will face difficulties such as forced marriage, violence and educational inequalities. According to statistics, 12 million young people are married before the age of 18 every year, 130 million girls between the ages of 6 and 17 worldwide do not attend school at all, and two-thirds of the 800 million illiterate people on Earth are women. UNICEF has been fighting for decades the institution of child marriage and illiteracy, and supporting young women to develop their talents.
The UNICEF Pop-Up Store, which will be open in downtown Budapest from October 9 to 11, will provide full support to girls and women in need. With a view to the success of 2019, the organizers again this year invited well-known actors from the Hungarian fashion industry, business and public life to join the initiative. In addition to last year's offer, men's and children's clothes, accessories and sportswear will be waiting for those interested in the downtown showroom this year.
