Hungarian jazz musician Sándor Benkó, the founder and leader of the Benkó Dixieland Band passed away at the age of 75 in Budapest. Beside touring the world with his band, Benkó, an electric engineer by profession and popularly known as 'Mr. Dixie Teacher', taught at the Budapest Technical University for decades.
