Celebrating the Summer Solstice, Diplomacy & Trade co-hosted a special event with NextArt Gallery complete with the opening of an exhibition by Géza Szöllõsi. The Party was inspired by Shakespeare's famous comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Diplomacy & Trade held a special Club Event at the prestigious contemporary art gallery, NextArt Gallery on June 23, complete with the opening of a wonderful exhibition by Géza Szöllõsi, titled Handmade Hollywood. These works have just returned to Budapest after a successful US debut in Miami.
Since Shakespeare gave the inspiration, both gastronomy and decoration was themed around the famous wedding comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Gorgeous flower decoration was dreamt by Freshcut and finger food was provided by Konyhakör. Celebrating in such an amazing venue, the party really was magical. Guests could enjoy the Kertész Family Winery's Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc and Rosé Champagne from Etyek, or choose to lighten up their mood with a special Metaxa Sun Ginger coctail.
Speakers of the night inclueded Tamás Varga, Director of Operations at Diplomacy & Trade and László Regõczi, who proudly presented his award winning mineral water, Primus.
As the highlight of the party Simplicissimus Ensemble amused the audience with quality entertainment. Performing Henry Purcell's semi-opera, The Fairy Queen at Müpa with great success, they have come to our Club Event with the same concert to dazzle the guests.
