April 18, 2011

A dispenser of pálinka, a special Hungarian fruit brandy, has been set up in the diplomatic lounge at Budapest’s international airport to welcome visitors with a combination of Hungarian flavors and ingenuity.

The machine has been set up and operated by the company ‘Nobilis Pálinka’ at the airport the government recently named as Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

The company claims that thus, they have “automatized” good mood in Hungarian diplomatic life and it is with this means that Nobilis Pálinka supports the fruitful diplomatic relations and the Hungarian EU Presidency.

Pálinka is a double distilled beverage made from a variety of fruits with evidence of its production dating back more than 500 years.
